We finally got Ella Kate a new dog. We had a maltese, Attie that was given to us but she was just tooooo high maintenance for our busy lives. We love her and we miss her. But anyways, so we went this past weekend and got "Sonny". He is a boston terrier and is 8 weeks old. Ella Kate loves him so much and he loves her. I don't have very many pics yet because my camera is in the shop getting some repairs! But here are a few pics that were sent to me from his original owner:

We celebrated her 2nd b'day on June 21, Father's day. We spent all day at Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's (my parents) swimming, grilling, playing, and partying it up!!! She had a great b'day! Here are a few pics:

Ok so.....I am alittle just alittle behind on posting! Sorry! There has been alot going on. First of all thanks to all that prayed and thought of us during the difficult 6 weeks that Gilbert was sick. Gilbert fought a long and hard battle with multiple complications.

We miss him dearly but know he is in Heaven and watching over us.

We had the great pleasure of experiencing our 1st Nascar race with some of our really good friends. Kris and I had never been to a race before and we had also never left Ella Kate for this amount of time!We have left her for 1 night only! But, we left Friday evening and returned home on Sunday night.It was an awesome and exhausting weekend.But we really enjoyed ourselves.

So thanks Brandy and Andy for inviting us!!!

Ella Kate absolutely adores her if you can't tell by the photos!!! I was so afraid she would be jealous because she loves her "Gigi" (aunt angie) but she has done really really well with Karlee. She just walks up to her and kisses her and then goes on about her business!! It is so funny. Anyways, hope you enjoy the pictures and photoshow!

Spring Pictures

Just wanted to post these from this past weekend. Ella Kate done really good allowing me to do a small photo shoot. By the way if you don't already know this, I LOVE TAKING PICTURES!!! I can't wait until it is springtime and all the flowers are blooming. I love this time of year (minus severe allergy season for me). It is the most beautiful time of year. It is full of color and life.

Ella Kate got her ears pierced!!

Ella Kate finally got her ears pierced!!! I am so proud of my little girl. She is growing day by day and turning into a little lady. Which makes me sad :( and happy :) at the same time. I never thought it would be this hard seeing your child grow up. But it is a blessing at the same time. OH how I love her.......... anyways, about her ears. I had decided when she was about 3 months old that I would leave the decision up to her when she was able to choose if she wanted her ears pierced or not. So for about 2 months now she has been wanting to wear my earrings and of course I find some way to make it look like she had them on. So I ask her if she wanted her ears pierced like mine and she said yes and got really excited. So Monday, Feb. 9 we went to Tuscaloosa and got them pierced. She done really great, cried a minute or so but for the most part done really great. We got her little cz diamond studs that are absolutely adorable. Here are a few pictures.

Meet Attie

I know that most of you don't know but we lost our poodle, April back in October 2008. I miss her today as much as I missed her the day I found out she had died. She was my dog for 12 years, so she had been through alot with me and had been there alot for me! But, I decided it was about time to find a new animal. We recently got a kitten and Ella Kate and myself was allergic to it. Sooooo.......... we had to give him away. But, last week a client of the store was needing to give away her little maltese doggie and ask if I wanted it! Of course I said YES! She is 1 year old, weighs about 3lbs., and her name is Attie. We got her Friday, Jan. 23 and have loved every minute spent with her. She could never take April's place but her personality and manner are soooo much like April's. So I couldn't have ask for a better dog. Ella Kate just loves her too. She will call her name and motion for her to "mon mon" (come on). It is too cute. So here are a few pictures of Attie and I will post one in memory of April.
